Asian Flowers

This was a weekend with one of my best friends and college roommate. We hit the craft store and grabbed some canvases, brushes, and acrylic paint.

In the end it almost looks like a vinyl decal. It  was a great way to practice precision with a sharp edged brush. Acrylics have a dull surface when they dry. So, I prefer to add a finishing varnish to them. It brightens the colors and helps the piece stay clean from dust as well.
